2012 Snow Goose Report - Missouri

Well 2012 seems to shaping up far diffrently than the 2010 and 2011 seasons. The warmer temperatures and nice weather have kept the birds close to and even in Missouri so unplugged your guns and get your gear ready to go the season opens on February 1, 2012 We have openings avaible for the first two weeks of the season.

Snow Geese Report - Mound City, MO

Yes it is true while scouting for fields yesterday we spotted numerous bunches of snow geese. We are sure that this is NOT a migration but it does show that there are snow geese always checking Squaw Creek NWR. Since there was NO open water we watched them turn around and fly back south down the Missouri River valley.
